Professional & Classy

Pretty, witty,

Bright & gritty.

Professional, obsessional.

Happy.

Am I allowed to be angry?

Am I allowed to scream?

Society says no,

But society's not me.

I scream.

You scream.

We all scream

For peace & serenity.

My phone vibrates.

My emails ping.

I scream internally.

Remaining calm on the inside,

Repressing the dragon within.

Colored inside & out

By all the things I've been.

I guess I'm not supposed to let

Anything affect me.

I'm supposed to pretend everything is fine.

"Don't let it get to you," they say.

I don't think it's fair.

No one seems to care.

I'm suffering inside & out;

They don't even know what it's about.

I will feel, I will scream, and

I will be me.

Join me

And we shall be free.
